Refund & Cancellation Policy
This policy explains how billing, trials, cancellations, and refunds work for JustInterview.ai (“JIA”) recruiter subscription plans (Trial, Solo, Team, and Enterprise) and one-time add-on purchases. It should be read alongside our Pricing page and Terms of Service.
Trial Period
Our trial is a one-time, low-cost charge (shown in your local currency at checkout) that gives you a full month of platform access, including AI interviews, AI assessments, resume screening, and Teams scheduling. No recurring charge is applied when you sign up for the trial. If you decide the platform is not right for your team, you can cancel any time before the trial period ends at no additional charge, no questions asked. If you do not cancel, your account automatically shifts to the Solo plan at the end of the trial month, and standard monthly billing begins.
Subscription Billing & Access
Paid plans are billed on a recurring monthly basis. Your plan's features and usage allowances (AI interviews, AI assessments, resume screens, and hires supported) are made available to your account immediately once payment is confirmed. Allowances reset at the start of each billing cycle and do not roll over.
Upgrades
Upgrading to a higher plan takes effect immediately. You are charged a prorated amount for the remaining days in your current billing cycle at the new plan's rate, and your usage allowances and feature access update right away.
Downgrades & Cancellations
You can downgrade or cancel your plan at any time from your account's billing settings. There are no lock-in periods and no cancellation fees. Downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period, and you retain full access to the plan and features you have already paid for until then. Your subscription will not renew or be charged again after a cancellation takes effect.
Refunds
Because plan access and usage allowances are granted immediately upon payment, we generally do not issue refunds for the current billing period once a charge has been made, except:
- Where required by applicable law.
- Where a billing error occurred on our part (e.g., a duplicate or incorrect charge).
- Where the service was unavailable due to an issue on our end for a significant portion of your billing period.
Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. The trial period described above is designed to let you evaluate JIA before committing to a recurring plan, so we encourage cancelling within the trial window if you decide not to continue.
Add-On Purchases
One-time add-on purchases, such as additional interview credits, recruiter accounts, JD credits, or data export packs, are non-refundable once they have been issued to your account.
Enterprise Agreements
Customers with a separately negotiated Enterprise agreement are governed by the billing, cancellation, and refund terms in their signed agreement, which take precedence over this page in the event of a conflict.
How to Request a Cancellation or Refund
To cancel your subscription, use the billing settings in your JIA account. For refund requests or billing questions, contact us at support@justinterview.ai with your registered email and organization name.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our billing practices. Please check this page periodically for updates.
